With the continued explosion of AI in 2023 and Chat GPT making headlines, Women & Hi Tech wants to dig in and explore Chat GPT. This topic is a continuation of our Q1 2023 discussion on What You Need to Know about AI, featuring female thought leaders and practitioners to provide attendees with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) 101.

In continuation, for the first Women & Hi Tech Executive Women’s Forum (EWF) of 2024, we want to share with our members and those who are AI-curious how to use Chat GPT. What is it? How does it work? What are use cases for Chat GPT and considerations for using the tool?

We are excited to announce that we have secured a fantastic thought leader & practitioner to help us answer these questions. Dona Sarkar is Microsoft's Chief Troublemaker – CoPilot & AI Extensibility. She will be joining us to speak about generative AI, Chat GPT and do a real-time demo of Chat GPT!

Yes, Dona's title is Chief Troublemaker – so this Executive Women’s Forum will be pretty special! Linda Calvin, Executive Women's Forum Director, will lean in and ask questions – hers and yours – and hand the mic to Dona to demo Chat GPT.

This EWF is virtual so you can play with Chat GPT, see results, and ask questions. Order your favorite lunch from Doordash or heat up your leftover KETO dinner and spend your lunchtime learning so you can dazzle your dinner guests or talk tech with your teen. Invite your colleagues, business resource groups, students and faculty!

About Dona Sarkar

Dona Sarkar is Chief Troublemaker for CoPilot and AI Extensibility at Microsoft. In her current role, she is building an AI extensibility program to enable developers to reason over their OWN data using AI and Copilot products. She has been in the tech industry for over 12 years, and as she shares, despite her decades of shenanigans, she remains unfired (and unjailed!).

Before this role, she ran the Accessibility Tech and Inclusive Design investments for all of Microsoft, making sure that the one billion+ people with disabilities AND others with neurodivergence and mental health concerns can count on tech to be a trusty sidekick.

Dona also led an advocacy team for the Power Platform at Microsoft, a toolset specifically for intrapreneurs to solve their business problems. She was also the Chief #NinjaCat of the Windows Insider Program at Microsoft, one of the biggest communities of people in the world, 21 billion, who act as the tech influencer for everyone in their lives. She has also worked on developer engagement for HoloLens, the world's first holographic computer.

In her spare time, Dona is writing fiction and non-fiction books to help young professionals have the careers of their dreams, running an ethical luxury fashion line for women AND men called Prima Dona, coaching entrepreneurs in emerging markets, saying words on stages all over the world, and in her words, “coming up with some REALLY scheme-y schemes.”
